On Sunday, Manchester City inflicted Crystal Palace with its second home defeat of the season.
What makes the statistic confusing is that the home team has now lost at Selhurst Park twice in a row.
According to an old Finnish proverb, “no two without a third”.
On Thursday, an exotic visiting team from Kuopio will arrive in London, as KuPS tries to make it to the Conference League playoffs. It would require an away win for the Yellow Jackets at Selhurst Park.
The City star who decided Sunday’s match Erling Haaland reported after the match that there was no warm water from the showers in the stadium’s dressing rooms.
– Thank you for the lovely cold shower, Crystal Palace, the Norwegian striker wrote on social media.
If the plumbers don’t get the problem fixed, the KuPS players will literally have a cold shower on Thursday.
