Greek track qualifies for the final grass tournament Rosmalen with little effort

A new unique for Tallon Grepe track. The 26-year-old tennis player from Nieuw-Vennep qualified for the first time in his career on Saturday evening for the final of the grass tournament in Rosmalen. He finished within two sets with the Finn Emil Ruusuvuori: 6-4, 7-5. If the Greek track wins on Sunday, he will follow in the footsteps of compatriot Tim van Rijthoven.

The Greek track will meet Australian Jordan Thompson in the final on Sunday. He defeated compatriot Rinky Hijikata earlier in the day (7-6 (5), 6-3).

It was the first time for Greek track against Ruusuvuori. The North Hollander took a break in the first set and was too strong for the Finn: 6-4. It was a very exciting second set, because the Finn was able to participate well. He even got a set point at 5-4, which Greek track parried and then won 7-5.

He is currently the number 38 in the world and Botic van de Zandschulp 34th. However, the Amstelvener loses points from the Queen’s grass tournament, where he was in the semi-finals last year.
