The excitement is rising as the 66th Grammy Awards are just around the corner. Not only the nominees for the renowned music award are taking part in the gala – other stars are also expected to be at the event in California. According to the organizers, greats such as Lenny Kravitz and Lionel Richie will also be there. Singer Christina Aguilera, TV host Oprah Winfrey and actress Meryl Streep will also take the stage to give short presentations or present prizes.

SZA has the most nominations this year (in nine categories), followed by Phoebe Bridgers, Serban Ghenea and Victoria Monét (with seven nominations each). Afterwards come Jack Antonoff, Jon Batiste, boygenius, Brandy Clark, Miley Cyrus, Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo and Taylor Swift (with six chances for trophies each).

The host of the evening is – for the fourth time – Trevor Noah. Live performances are scheduled from Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, Olivia Rodrigo, Burna Boy, Luke Combs, Travis Scott, Joni Mitchell and Billy Joel. The venue is the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles (known as Staples Center until 2021).

The Grammys will also be shown in Germany this year. Telekom will be responsible for broadcasting the 66th Grammy Awards in this country – it starts at two in the morning German time. The awarding of the most important music prize in the world will take place on February 5, 2024.

Telekom will show the ceremony live and exclusively on MagentaMusik and MagentaTV (channel 141 with standard occupancy). There will also be a repeat: on February 6th at 8:15 p.m. on the channel #dabeiTV on MagentaTV. The award ceremony will then be available for streaming in the MagentaTV Megathek and at MagentaMusik.
