In the statement made by Göztepe Club, it was stated that İrfan Can Eğribayat was excluded from the squad due to his undisciplined behavior after the Aytemiz Alanyaspor match.

İrfan Can Eğribayat shared the following statements on his social media account regarding what happened after the Aytemiz Alanyaspor match:
“As the public knows, our baby lost her life in the past months. After this incident, our daughter became our most sensitive point. Three matches after losing our daughter, I had the same problems in the Adana Demirspor match. All the fans reacted to me collectively. I tried to do my best after the match. In the Alanyaspor match, where these sad events took place, the reactions that continued throughout the match were people trying to injure me over my deceased daughter and using slang words. I tried to keep my calm until the match was over, I came across heavy accusations on my way to the locker room calmly. “I have run out of patience, I could not remain indifferent. First of all, I would like to apologize to our esteemed President Mehmet Sepil, our club managers, teammates, Göztepe and the Turkish football community, who stood by me in all circumstances and made me feel his support.”
