National wrestler Rıza Kayaalp won the gold medal at the Matteo Pellicone Tournament held in Italy.
The organization held in the capital city of Rome started with Greco-Roman style competitions.
Competing in 130 kg, Olympic runner-up, world and European champion Rıza Kayaalp won the gold medal by defeating Sabah Saleh Shariati from Azerbaijan 4-0 in the final.
Furkan Yıldız, who lost to Azerbaijani Hasrat Jafarov in the 67 kilo final, won the silver medal.
