Gap Inc. bids farewell to Global Creative Director Len Peltier.

Peltier, who has been in his role since February 2020, left the US clothing company at the end of July, according to his profile on the LinkedIn careers network.

Peltier joined Gap in 2017, then as Creative Director of the Banana Republic brand, before being promoted to Global Creative Director across all of the group’s brands. He started his career in the music industry as creative director for the record labels A&M Records and Virgin Records. From 2007 to 2014 he served as Vice President Global Creative Director for Levi Strauss before co-founding The Lost Explorer brand with adventurer, ecologist and banker’s son David de Rothschild. He also served as creative director there. According to his LinkedIn profile, Peltier currently works as a freelance “Global Creative Director, Brand Strategist, Artist”.

Peltier’s departure follows several changes within the group, which only appointed Mattel manager Richard Dickson as CEO at the end of July. His successor is not yet known.
