Girona hosted Sevilla at home in the 21st week of the Spanish La Liga. The Catalan team defeated its host opponent 5-1.
Girona’s goals were scored by Artem Dovbyk in the 13th, 15th and 19th minutes, Tsyhanko in the 56th minute and Stuani in the 89th minute.
Sevilla’s only goal came from Isaac Romero in the 10th minute.
With this result, Girona rose above Real Madrid in the league with 52 points and took back the leadership seat.
Sevilla, on the other hand, remained above the relegation zone with 16 points.
