The exploited daughter, now an adult, filed a report herself, the Dutch Labor Inspectorate reported on Friday. This form of exploitation is considered human trafficking.
The daughter had to work a large number of hours in the company between the ages of 13 and 18. She often worked long working days and weeks, up to seven days a week, according to the criminal investigation. She also had to quit school because of her work.
Physical violence
If she was ill, she still had to work and her safety was hardly taken into account during her work. She had no privacy in the house where she stayed. In addition, there was alleged physical violence by her parents and other family members.
