Victoria Frye has been the new Head of Design at fashion retailer Gerry Weber from Halle in Westphalia since the beginning of August. She replaces the long-time head of design Stefani Görtz, who worked for the company for almost 15 years and has retired.

Frye (40) comes from the Rottendorf-based fashion brand Comma, where, as Head of Product, she was responsible for both brand orientation and the creative creation of the product collection, from concept to production readiness. Previous stations were 81hours, Dear Cashmere and Dorothee Schumacher.

In her new management position at Gerry Weber, she reports to Marianne Ritter, Executive Vice President Product Gerry Weber. “We are really delighted to have won Victoria for the Gerry Weber Collection,” says Marianne Ritter. “As part of our strategy to make Gerry Weber the leading brand in the modern classic mainstream again, we have set ourselves ambitious goals. Victoria has extensive experience and expertise. She knows how to further develop brands and always focus on the needs of the customer.” And she adds: “Victoria has the skills that we need for the further implementation of our strategy.”
