Gerry Weber: Product manager Marianne Ritter leaves

Marianne Ritter, Executive Vice President Product at Gerry Weber, is leaving the company.

Ritter is leaving the clothing supplier from Halle in Westphalia “at his own request and with the best of mutual understanding,” said Gerry Weber on Friday. As product manager, she was responsible for all product areas of Collection and Edition as well as for the licensing business and product marketing. According to Gerry Weber, Ritter pushed ahead with the realignment of the brand in terms of style and product.

“It’s the right time to take on new challenges after the very successful implementation of the growth strategy for Generation WOW,” said Ritter.

She has been in this position since the beginning of last year, succeeding Rena Marx. Before that she worked for the Bremen brand Zero, including in the areas of design/concept and colours, market and sales and branding/social media. She has also worked for More&More, Lerros and Street One.

Gerry Weber did not announce who would succeed Ritter or whether the position would be filled by someone else.
