Germany will soon legalize cannabis use: cannabis clubs must fend off cannabis tourism

The German government will partially legalize the use of cannabis from April. A plan was originally drawn up to fully legalize cannabis use by the end of 2023, but that plan was delayed in a protracted debate between the coalition and opposition. A two-step plan is now being initiated. Weed clubs will be established by the end of 2024 and then cannabis will also be available in shops for those who are at least eighteen years old.
