In “Ally Pally” the arrows whiz towards the target again. The top players meet at the Darts World Cup. t-online tells you who is dueling with whom and when.

It is the highlight of the year for all darts fans: the world championship in London’s legendary Alexandra Palace, popularly known as “Ally Pally”. Here the grandees of darts gradually meet each other in highly exciting one-on-one duels, throwing dart after dart, 180 after 180, until a new world champion is crowned at the end.

The reigning champion is the Englishman Luke Littler, but the competition for the 18-year-old on the way to defending his title is fierce and another victory is by no means guaranteed. There are eight German darts professionals in the field of participants: Martin Schindler, Ricardo Pietreczko, Gabriel Clemens, Niko Springer, Max Hopp, Arno Merk, Lukas Wenig and Dominik Grüllich. They all want to play a successful World Cup and maybe surprise one or two of them.

By the way: In this year’s tournament, instead of 96 players, there are now 128 players competing against each other. There are no longer any byes in round one for the stars; in the future, Littler and Co. will have to achieve seven victories for the World Cup title like the tennis professionals in Grand Slam tournaments.

Find out with the t-online game panel when the German players take the board and when it is the turn of the stars of the scene. You will also find out how the matches ended here every day.
