Again nine-darter in Hildesheim

Little showed a strong game with a 103 average. Nevertheless, the German had to give up 4: 6 against Taylor.

The day before, William O’Connor, Ryan Searle and Dirk van Duijvenbode had already thrown a nine-darter.

Ricardo Pietreczko also ended prematurely in Hildesheim on Tuesday. He lost 4: 6 to the British Thomas Lovely.

The German professionals Niko Springer, Gabriel Clemens, Kai Gotthard, Max Hopp, Florian Hempel and Martin Schindler, however, survived the opening hurdle.

Springer had already caused a real sensation on Monday. The “Meenzer Bub” threw 6: 3 out in the first round World Cup finalist and superstar Michael van Gerwen.

Springer provided darts sensation

The tour rookie came to an average of 88.94 and sank 35.3 percent of the throws. Springer then defeated William Borland and Cam Crabtree. It was only in the round of 16 that he ended in Hildesheim. He lost 4: 6 against the Dutch Dirk van Duijvenbode.

Springer underlined with his performance that he is currently the strongest German darts player. Reaching the round of 16 was the best performance for him at a Players championship tournament.

Springer had already sniffed a sensation last week.

At the fifth Players championship tournament of the year in Leicester, he only had to give up world champion Luke Littler with 5: 6 in the first round in the decider.
