German businessman found dismembered in freezer!

He has been missing in Thailand for a week. Now the certainty: The German businessman Hans-Peter Mack (62) is dead. Apparently he was the victim of a cruel crime.

︎ On Monday evening, Thai media reported: The police are searching a house near Pattaya. Investigators found a male body in a freezer. BILD learned from the police: It is very likely to be the German. According to The Pattaya News, the officials confirmed on Tuesday morning (local time): It’s Hans-Peter Mack!

According to online platform Thailand Daily News, the freezer with the body was discovered in a terraced house in a village in Chon Buri province. The largest Thai newspaper ThaiRath also reports the death of Hans-Peter Mack.

Allegedly, the German businessman was tortured and then dismembered! An arrest warrant had been issued against a German citizen.

Business with deadly consequences?

Mack has been missing since Tuesday, July 4th. Recent surveillance camera footage has raised fears that he may have been the victim of a crime.

︎ That Tuesday, Mack, who lives in Thailand and works as a broker there, apparently wanted to do a lucrative deal: buying a villa on Koh Samui and a boxing hall. Price for both properties according to Thai media: around 700 million baht (around 18.2 million euros)!

For this purpose, the 62-year-old met with a previously unknown female person.

The bar’s security cameras filmed the arrival, meeting the woman, and Mack’s departure in his gray Mercedes. The meeting lasted about half an hour.

They are the last pictures of the German! Mack’s partner Piraya Boonmak (24) received two more text messages from him during the meeting, but was then unable to reach her boyfriend again.

According to the police, Mack’s cell phone sent a final signal from Sa Kaeo province, around 230 kilometers from Pattaya. His Mercedes was discovered four days later, apparently carefully cleaned. The police: “They wanted to destroy evidence.”

Explosive: After the disappearance, 2 million baht (52,000 euros) are said to have been transferred abroad from Mack’s account. The police questioned three suspects.
