George Clooney takes on the role of “Detective George” supported by an international cast that includes Eva Longoria, Camille Cottin and Kim Go Eun. The story, with a light and ironic flavour, unfolds around the disappearance of coffee capsulestransforming a simple train journey into an intriguing mystery.
A theft… of coffee
The heart of the countryside is a short set on an imaginary traincharacterized by an elegant atmosphere and a vintage touch. Camille Cottin plays an heiress who reports the disappearance of his precious coffee capsules, leading Detective George to investigate. The clues lead to the train kitchenwhere they move two main suspects: the Chef (Eva Longoria) and the Sous Chef (Kim Go Eun). The plot develops between twists and moments of irony, giving a pleasant and engaging visual experience.

Behind the scenes, the cast has shared an excellent understandingas emerges from the statements released by the actors. George Clooney called the experience “particularly fun”appreciating the possibility of collaborating for the first time with her longtime friend Eva Longoriawho described the set as «a place of great harmony and lightness». Camille Cottin and Kim Go Eun underlined the chemistry between the protagonists, made even more special by the setting in the famous Cinecittà studios in Rome.
The commercial does its thing world debut on January 15, 2025, offering viewers a mix of elegance, irony and mystery. The story, explains Nespresso, is destined to develop over the course of the year.
