Dutch politician Geert Wilders, who is leader of the right-wing nationalist Party for Freedom (PVV), has lashed out at Sophie Hermans in the debate on the spring memorandum. She is leader of the People’s Party for Freedom and Democracy (VDD), the party of Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte. Wilders called her “Rutte’s bag carrier” and Hermans clearly had a hard time with that.
