The brothers Andrew and Tristan Tate have now also been sued in the United Kingdom. In total there are 21 charges against the brothers of, among other things, rape, the inflicting of physical injury and human trafficking. The British OM announced this on Wednesday.
Ten of the charges, of three different women, are directed against the 38-year-old influencer and former kick boxer Andrew Tate. He is accused of rape, inflicting physical injury, human trafficking and forced prostitution. His younger brother Tristan Tate has been sued by one woman. She filed eleven charges and also accuses him of rape, the inflicting of physical injury and human trafficking.
The accusations date from the period between 2012 and 2015, when the brothers lived in the UK. The brothers Tate say “all charges categorically reject” and that they are “very innocent men.”
Current criminal cases
In Romania there is already a criminal case against the two self -proclaimed “women’s haters”. In December 2022, the pair was arrested in their house in Bucharest on suspicion of rape, human trafficking and money laundering. In addition to the case in Romania, criminal investigations into the British-American brothers in Florida and Los Angeles are also ongoing.
The United Kingdom has submitted an extradition request for Andrew and Tristan Tate to Romania. The OM does say that first the lawsuit in Romania must be dealt with and that the Romanian process is separate from the legal proceedings in the UK.
