“Gazprom” provided the European Commission, which is investigating the decline in gas supplies to Europe during the gas crisis, part of the information, the press service of the company told RBC.

The European Commission has sent official inquiries to Gazprom and other companies on the case of reducing gas supplies to Europe, it has three outcomes, earlier stated press conferences by Deputy Chairman of the EC Margrethe Vestager.

According to her, the European Commission may decide that Gazprom did not violate the supply agreement. Otherwise, the Russian company will receive a fine. The third option could be the settlement of the case, provided that “Gazprom” undertakes obligations to stop violations and rectify the situation.
