Barça trained this Tuesday afternoon at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper in what has been the second session of the day, just one day before the Blaugrana expedition heads to the United States to start the summer tour. The news yesterday was that Gavi stopped by to greet his teammates and, however, a day later he has not been able to join them.
And it is that, according to what the club has communicated, the footballer suffers from gastroenteritis, for which the decision has been made that he will be absent from work on the pitch so that he can recover without problems before the start of the tour, in which the Barça will play four high-level friendly matches against Juventus, Arsenal, Real Madrid and Milan in four different cities.
It is expected that this Wednesday morning, after the last training session at the Joan Gamper prior to the transoceanic trip, the club will announce the list of squads that Xavi has decided for the tour. Among them there will be six young players whose final destination should be, if there is no change in plans, Barça Atlètic. They are Mika Faye, who arrived this summer, Lamine Yamal, Marc Casadó, Aleix Garrido, Astralaga and Álex Valle.
