Apache 207 announced its third album with a single poster on Friday (March 17). It hangs on block N5 6/7, 68161 Mannheim, in one of the squares of the inner planned city between branches of the chains “Intersport” and “Engelhorn Sports”.

It shows the artist in his signature look—sunglasses, white T-shirt, black trousers—while casually throwing a bouquet of flowers in the trash while smoking. Above him the lettering: “GARTENSTADT The new album – 09.06.23”.

With its new work, Apache 207 returns to its roots, at least in name. After all, it is named after the district of Ludwigshafen where Volkan Yaman at least went to school and maybe also grew up. However, there is no official information about the tracklist or the production yet. In 2023, only his joint song with Udo Lindenberg has been released so far, “Komet”.

The announcement comes on the heels of a historic success for the artist. Since March 10, his song “Roller” has stayed in the German charts for 162 weeks, beating the all-time record set by Wham!’s “Last Christmas”.
