Game Of Thrones star Emilia Clarke confirms Jon Snow is getting his own series

Unlike Jon Snow, Daenerys Targaryen knows everything. The blonde queen’s actress, Emilia Clarke, confirmed in an interview the already existing rumors that a spin-off show for the “Bastard” is planned. Kit Harrington will reprise his role as the charming secret king.

Emilia Clarke revealed the details in an interview with the BBC. Kit Harrington personally told her about the planned show. “I know there will be. It’s actually happening,” she added. Harrington should not only take on the leading role. According to Clarke, he was also responsible for the creation of the show. The offshoot series does not yet have a name.

More spin-offs planned

Jon Snow is far from the only spin-off HBO is working on. Westeros is set to return to screens. First up is House Of The Dragon, a series set before the events of Game Of Thrones, which will be released on August 21st. Former “Doctor Who” Matt Smith stars in the lead role.

The 10-episode Game of Thrones prequel series, House of the Dragon, will be available on-demand on Sky Q in parallel with the US broadcast on the night of August 22 and at 8:15 p.m. on the evening of August 22 to be seen on Sky Atlantic. A new promo poster was released just recently. In addition to “House Of The Dragon”, six other spin-off shows are to be created, three of them animated.
