Fuzz Club is not just a label, it is an institution, what do you want to say. For friends: inside of herbaceous, shoegazi, noisigen, experimental-drumbling sounds, the weekend in May is released when the Fuzz Club invites you to the festival in Effenaar in Eindhoven again. During the pandemic, it had to be paused, of course, only for fans it was briefly unsure whether it could go as before-after all, the organists do not rely on fat names, but on genre sugar, which you sometimes have to get out of it. But even after the 2025 edition, one can say: The event is a firmly established thing that does not have to be XL-sized to have international weight. And this year’s gigs by Maquina., Floral Image, Los Bitchos and Goat underline the overall impression of the festival: Those who appear here really enjoy the moment.
With a superlative danger
On the two stages of the Effenaar, there are no down -average average concerts to see, but a burning sensation for this moment. The love for the live music experienced can be found on the stage at every corner, as well as before. And even if it sounds like superlative gags, it simply describes it best why it is worth visiting this event with a heart in the Netherlands.
The nice thing too: At the Fuzz Club Festival, complete: inside, have their real pleasure, after all, there are no line-up overlaps here. For example, this year you could feel a Black Dolder in the smaller hall that is typical of the psyche event (you almost think you would step in for your genre buddies from The Underground Youth) to then tune the stairs up into the big hall for Sonic Booms solo show à la Disney on fungi. Anyone who did not have to do with soft knees for Pete Kember’s conditions for oversized concert experience could then be jogged directly in order to give themselves-the Berlin noise pop band, which Tight delivered and still illustrate that they are far from being reached in the third act.
A saw of a good kind
However, what is also extended in the period of May 9th and 10th are the tonal brain saws – if you wonder who really can really do that, you should give you a listening time in particular. They actually saw every train of thought that is not dedicated to their music. It is almost a meditation festival with longing for headbang. Actually, Maquina would actually be here. To name Portugal, which as a trio can make as much noise as a whole mile of fan and still specify a brilliant-danceable rhythm that makes it easy to sweat the shirt and leather jacket together. At the Fuzz Club, they only showed this time that they can also be handy and so melodic that it makes it difficult not to imagine them as headlining any festivals in the world. This mixture simply!
However, Los Bitchos were responsible for the best hands -on activities. They even managed to encourage the most of the arms to swing in the air. Here was switched from the nod to the hip to the hip, from drinking beer to pouring beer-simply because it all had so much gaga groove that it was simply no different. But Goat from Sweden had also planned their appearance really driving forward. It was the moment when it became a little too tight in the Great Effenaar area for the first time, the sweat could not only be felt by yourself, but also by the side person in the complete package.
The coexistence with exclamation mark
However, it was always the case of acclimating to be played in the face outside of the Venues and in parallel with bands such as the likeable upupayama about Italian hits or talking to the gluts about the food selection in the area – because even if the group did not perform on the Stage at the 2025 edition of the festival, they only remained all for both days gladly there. Because whoever was here comes again and again. It’s a family affair.
