From Mattia Furlani to Nadia Battocletti, passing through Monica Boggioni and Antonio Fantin: they are the other four award -winnings of the Mediterranean Excellence Prize with the 2025 edition scheduled for 20 October in Rome. “Their dedication – underlines the organizing committee – is a luminous example of how sport can unite, inspire and transmit universal values. With this recognition, we want to celebrate not only their victories, but also the message of passion, seriousness and national pride they carry with them”.

The winners, three Fiamme Oro (Furlani, Fantin and Boggioni) and a blue flames (Battocletti) distinguished for having conquered medals at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games and to the most recent world championships, will receive the title of ambassadors of Italian excellence: a tribute to their extraordinary commitment, to the constancy and the ability to proudly represent the highest values of the sport and our nation. The initiative makes use of the collaboration and patronage of various entities, including the Usi (Italian Sports Press Union), APS (International Sports Press Association), CONI, CUG (Single Guarantee Committee) of the Ministry of Culture and Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
