Badhoevedorpers started the day early. The flea market attracted many visitors who were looking for bargains or just wanted to walk around the rugs.
“Yes, we were there early. We haven’t sold anything yet, but it’s getting busier,” says a salesperson. Others come mainly for the fun. “It’s also nice to walk around a bit, to see how everyone is happy here.”
A woman had been cleaning out her son’s room for a few months. “We already have a few boxes in the bedroom and every time we think: now we are going to stand on King’s Day. And today is the day.”
