Legia Warsaw is apparently interested in Fredi Bobic. The former Bundesliga top manager was last two years without a job.
Fredi Bobic is apparently about to return to the football business. More than two years after his end at Hertha BSC, the former international could soon take over a leadership position at the traditional Polish club Legia Warsaw. The TV station Sky reports.
Accordingly, the talks between the 53-year-old and the first division club have been running for some time-and are said to be in an advanced stage. Bobic is to take on a role in management in Warsaw. A decision could be made in the coming days.
Hertha BSC separated from Bobic in January 2023. Afterwards there was a legal dispute between club and ex-manager. Bobic had previously worked as a sports director at Eintracht Frankfurt and VfB Stuttgart.
According to Sky, Legia Warsaw wants to convince with ambitious plans for the coming years.
