The arrival of Jeroen van Koningsbrugge as a competitivega at Albert Heijn came as a surprise for Frank Lammers, the face of Jumbo for years. “If he had called me, I would have told him: Don’t do it,” he says in the podcast Ni Na Lammers listening.
“Well, we have to work hard again. He is of course very funny, so that will be tackled,” he explains his unsolicited advice with a joke. According to Lammers, the two did not speak. “No, not called, not also applied, but Jeroen is fine.”
Yet he feels the healthy struggle. “You always want the best, the funniest and the longest running advertising. So yes, I was there with extra energy this morning. Competition is up. Jeroen, Eat Your Heart Out. ”
