France raises the retirement age from 62 to 64. The retirement age in our country is currently 65 years, but the Michel-I government decided in 2014 to systematically raise the retirement age in our country to 67 years. How did that work again? When will the age limit be raised? We asked labor economist Stijn Baert (UGent) and pension expert Ria Janvier (UAntwerp). “The problem is pushed around, it becomes a vicious circle.”
