Four men arrested in police action against organized drug trafficking

Four men have been arrested during a police raid against organized drug trafficking. They were arrested in Oudenbosch, Roosendaal and Wouw. A large amount of drugs has been seized. The men are suspected of violating the Opium Act. They are still in custody and will be interrogated later.

On Thursday afternoon, officers raided a house on Bansingel in Oudenbosch. The police suspected that drugs were being traded there. A 49-year-old man from Oudenbosch was arrested in the house. Officers also found ten kilograms of hemp and three kilograms of hash.

Three others were also arrested that same afternoon. Police also seized more than two kilograms of cannabis. For example, agents at De Stok in Roosendaal put a 54-year-old Belgian aside. In his car was a bag full of hemp. A 52-year-old man was arrested on the Plantagebaan in Wouw, he also had a will full of hemp in his car. A 31-year-old man from Roosendaal was arrested on the quay in Roosendaal. His car has been impounded and is still under investigation.
