Forster remains undefeated in the World Cup

Paralympic champion Anna-Lena Forster remains the measure of all things in the Alpine World Cup. The monoskier celebrated her victories ten to 13 at the fourth stop in Cortina d’Ampezzo and remains unbeaten in the sitting class this winter.

For the first time since the Paralympics in Beijing, she had to compete against her Chinese competitors, who were so strong at the time, but she also put them in their place with a clear lead.

In Cortina, the para racers were already testing the Paralympics courses for 2026 in downhill, super-G and two slaloms. Anna-Maria Rieder achieved further podium places for the German team with two third places in her special discipline of slalom in the standing class.

In his only start in the slalom, 20-year-old Christoph Glötzner missed his first podium in the World Cup by just a hundredth of a second in the standing class, but he was once again the best one-legged athlete.

Alexander Rauen also came fourth in a slalom in the visually impaired class with guide Jeremias Wilke.
