Ex-formula 1 driver Ralf Schumacher reacted to the rumors in clear words that Sebastian Vettel could return to his former employer Red Bull in a management role.

“I don’t know how to integrate him,” said the 50-year-old in an interview on the YouTube channel of the portal “Formel1.de”.

So far, he had “only heard Vettel, who said that he would like to do it at Red Bull,” said Schumacher. “But I haven’t heard from Red Bull that someone had said that they would like that.”

Sebastian Vettel was recently acted as a possible successor to Red Bull’s motorsport consultant Helmut Marko. The 82-year-old Austrian himself recently brought the four-time Formula 1 world champion into conversation.

However, Schumacher emphasized that Vettel’s life had become “a completely different. He was very strong in sustainability and everything that had to do with green at the active time. Which is also good.”

He could only “imagine how he wants to visit 24 races with the electric car. From it, I believe that it is rather not so effective for him,” said Schumacher. “And I think it is also difficult as a company – with how he has expressed himself in Formula 1 in recent years when it became extreme.”

Formula 1: Also stucco against Red Bull chief for Vettel

Motor sports legend Hans-Joachim Stuck recently spoken out against a Vettel engagement in the Red Bull leadership. “I think that is completely wrong. This is nothing against Sebastian, but he is simply not a team manager. He would never be an option for me,” he said at “Eurosport”.

The 74-year-old stated: “A former driver cannot just get in at Marko’s level. And Sebastian would not do so a favor, of all things at this time.”

Vettel “also ended his Formula 1 career for his family,” said Stuck. “As a successor to the Marko, he would be deepened in his work 24 hours a day. In the evening, he goes to bed with thoughts, dreams of it and wakes up again. The family would be neglected in case of doubt. Whether he wants to participate is the big question.”
