Lando Norris triumphed in the Grand Prix of Hungary just ahead of his McLaren colleague Oscar Piatri. Third place went to Mercedes.
The McLaren were superior to the competition on Sunday in Budapest and made the victory among themselves. The Briton Norris parried several attacks by the overall World Cup-leading Piatri from Australia in the final rounds and saved the lead.
George Russell in the Mercedes snapped third place in the final phase of Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc. Leclerc’s prominent teammate Lewis Hamilton experienced the next disappointment after twelve in qualifying, and he was only twelfth in the race.
Verstappen disappointed with ninth place
World champion Max Verstappen, third in the driver’s ranking, did not get ninth in the Red Bull.
Nico Hülkenberg, the only German pilot in the field, climbed clean from starting place 19 to 13th place in the kick. His team -mate Gabriel Bortoleto cut much better.
