Former ski star Michaela Gerg is getting married for the third time

Michaela Gerg has already been married twice. In the Caribbean she decided to say yes again.
Former ski racer Michaela Gerg married for the third time at the age of 60. On December 12th she said yes to Achim Winter on the Caribbean island of Ambergris Caye.
Winter had previously publicly proposed to her at a celebrity golf tournament.
Not everything went smoothly shortly before the wedding. “An hour before the wedding, a tropical cloudburst passed over us, the palm trees stood sideways in the wind,” she told the magazine “Bunte”. “Ten minutes before our appointment on December 12th at 4 p.m. the rain stopped. When we said yes, two rainbows stretched across the sky,” said Gerg.
It’s not just the 1989 World Cup bronze medalist who has already experienced marriages. It is actually the fourth marriage for her husband. She doesn’t see this as a bad omen – quite the opposite: “We are repeat offenders and have learned how things can go better,” she said.
