Edo Ophof is currently already active as a member of the board of directors at Ajax. ‘The process to nominate Ophof as commissioner has not yet been completed. As soon as this process has been completed, Ajax will communicate about it,” the club writes.
Ophof is certainly no stranger to the club and played for the Amsterdam team from 1980 to 1988. After his career, he was a member of the Supervisory Board at NEC and was technical director in Nijmegen.
