Bas Dost continues his football career at NEC. The 34-year-old striker, who played for FC Utrecht last season, signed a one-year contract with the team from Nijmegen.
Dost started his career in professional football at FC Emmen and subsequently played football at Heracles Almelo, sc Heerenveen, VfL Wolfsburg, Sporting Portugal, Eintracht Frankfurt, Club Brugge and FC Utrecht. The native of Deventenaar played eighteen times for the Orange squad, but did not participate in a final tournament.
