‘Forest fires-sos’ for Italy: hundreds of fires in Sicily, part has been lit

The southern Italian island of Sicily is plagued by hundreds of forest fires. As a precaution, about fifty houses have been evacuated in the city of Trapani. The president of the Sicily regions says that some of the fires have been lit. The Italian broadcaster Rai speaks of a ‘forest firing-sos’ for Italy.
