The fire that started on Saturday night in the Vall d’Ebo, which has already it is the worst of the last decade in the province of Alicante with more than 7,000 hectares burnedhas entered full in the region of El Comtat Y has forced the eviction of the towns of Fageca and Famorca, as well as the village of Margaret, belonging to the municipality of Planes, as had happened shortly before with tollos. Thus, there are already four municipalities in this area affected by the fire, along with another four in the Marina Alta. Also, the flames continue to spread in various directions. The mayor of Fageca, Ishmael Vidalhas shown his desolation for what happened through social networks.
Fageca Town Hall has informed the neighbors through the municipal whatsapp account of the evacuation at 5:24 p.m.indicating that they should grab the essentials and hit the road that runs through town, the CV-720. It also reported that neighboring Famorca was evacuated, two kilometers away. Both municipalities barely add 160 registered inhabitants, but in these dates its real population can be perfectly triple, as there are a large number of vacationers in both. Tollos are also evacuated and, already in the Marina Alta, Beniaia and Alcala de la Jovada, the two towns that make up the municipality of Vall d’Alcalà; this last council has emphasized the risk in which Beniaia is located.
