For the offensive: Sturm Graz sign Szymon Wlodarczyk from Górnik Zabrze

Polish U21 team player

The day after signing goalie Kjell Scherpen, runners-up Sturm Graz presented the next international signing: The Styrians sign attacker Szymon Wlodarczyk from Górnik Zabrze. The 20-year-old Pole signed a contract in the state capital that runs until 2027, and the transfer fee is rumored to be 3 million euros. His country’s U21 team player played 30 games in the Ekstraklasa last season, in which he scored nine times.

Managing Director Sport Andreas Schicker said about the new signing: “SK Sturm has made a very good name for itself as a development platform for top talent in recent years. The fact that Szymon Wlodarczyk, another extremely talented young attacker, has opted for SK Sturm confirms this reputation. Szymon offers an extremely exciting and extensive skillset, despite his young age he can already draw on a lot of experience in professional football and his qualities will offer us another very good attacking option. We are happy that Szymon has decided to join SK Sturm and has signed for Graz on a long-term basis.”
