For the first time less than 1 million Dutch people who have experienced the liberation themselves

People who can tell from their own experience about the Second World War and the liberation – they are getting rarer. For the first time these 4 and 5 May fewer than 1 million people in the Netherlands from 1945 or earlier. In five years, only half of that group will be left, the Central Bureau of Statistics expects.
