For the first time also suitable for men

For the first time, the new jerseys of the women’s national soccer team are also available in a men’s pattern.

The outfit for the European Championship in England in July will be presented by national coach Martina Voss-Tecklenburg in the World Cup qualifier against Portugal on Saturday (4:10 p.m./ARD) in Bielefeld.

The white home shirts have retro details such as flat-knit collars and black cuffs on the sleeves, on which small German flags are attached. The logo of the DFB and the outfitter Adidas as well as two stars for the two World Cup titles (2003 and 2007) are placed in the middle. According to the DFB, the away jerseys are in “bright mint green tones.” All jerseys are therefore made from recycled plastic waste collected in coastal regions.
