The plane can fly 500 kilometers, carry more than 500 kilograms of cargo and reach speeds of 280 kilometers per hour. It is designed to connect smaller cities within a radius of 1000 kilometers with low emissions. You can transport organs or urgent medicines with it.
“We expect that the technology will be ready for a broader rollout within a few years and that regular passenger transport and business aviation can also be started,” says Nathan De Valck, CEO of Ostend-Bruges and Antwerp Airport. “In this way we can and want to play a pioneering role in making the aviation sector more sustainable.”
