Visit the doctor every year for a check-up: health insurance funds will review 218,000 files of long-term ill people

Long-term ill people will soon have to be evaluated every year by their doctor to receive a new certificate of incapacity for work. The Council of Ministers gave the green light for this in the second reading, Minister of Health Frank Vandenbroucke (Vooruit) reported on Tuesday.
