Niklas Anttila23, and Eveliina Salonen25, have won the World Farrisbee Golf World Championship silver on Saturday in Nokia. The two fought for a long gold medal in toasted weather, but eventually stayed with one throw.

The Finnish frisbee golf duo played excellently and recorded 51 throws from the round, or 12 less than a couple. Gold eventually escaped to the US couple Benjamin CallawayChandler Reighwho ended up with -13.

Anttila and Salonen share silver with three other pairs, one of which was partly Finnish: Jenni Karppinen and the Czech Jakub Semeraad Also forged the result -12 and rose to the prize ball.

Salonen and Anttila were still caught in the World Championship gold on fairway 14, but the three consecutive couples on the fairways 15-17 watered the championship dreams.

So far, no Finnish couple has reached the World Championship of the Dual Frisbee Golf.

The actual personal World Cup will start next week in Nokia and Tampere.
