Fly more and more expensive? Well, not for the time being: tickets 11.8 percent cheaper than year earlier

Inflation in the Netherlands fell lightly in August, mainly due to lower prices of international airline tickets. Daily life cost an average of 2.8 percent more than a year ago, according to figures from the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS). This made inflation slightly lower than in July, when the increase was still 2.9 percent.
