For a year, journalist Rita Baroud reports for NRC from Gaza, while Israeli bombs fall around her and the hunger is increasing. Through a diary she shares her story and keeps close contact with correspondent Lucia Admiraal, who is not allowed to enter Gaza herself. But then Rita gets big news: she can flee Gaza. Last weekend Rita and Lucia met for the first time in person.
