The fact that prominent Germany is leaving is no longer a new phenomenon: the Kaulitz brothers moved to Los Angeles, Boris Becker emigrated to London and now the Berlin rapper Fler has apparently also moved away. In a Q&A on Instagram, he confirmed that he emigrated to Cyprus. One of the reasons: the political situation in Germany.

Fler goes to Cyprus: “Every second one is an option”
Already on Wednesday, some fans had speculated that Fler could have emigrated after publishing a photo from the Mediterranean island on Instagram. In a subsequent Q&A in his Instagram story, when asked whether he emigrated, he confirmed in short and scarce: “Yes”.
When asked for why, Fler became much more detailed-it was social conditions in Germany: “What bothers me the most privately is the lower, instructive way in everyday life,” wrote the 43-year-old. “Every second one is an aluminum and interested in your life, wants to impose his rules. Politics has become a joke, people hate themselves, there are no values, the weather is shit, and most Germans don’t even notice it and are still satisfied with their life in any sick way.”
The idea came two years ago
The decision to emigrate to Cyprus apparently did not come overnight. Years ago, Fler dealt with the thought of how he continued: “I was sitting in my house in Berlin two years ago, my girlfriend had left me, my producer left me, my mother died, and nobody was really there except my closest circle of friends. On this day I swore myself, I will get everything back and ten times more. Today is the day when I did it.”
Fler – bourgeois Patrick Losensky – comes from Berlin and became known in 2002 through his collaboration with Bushido. With his first single “Aggroberlina” he managed to get started with the German charts. In 2015 he ended up in the German album charts for the first time with the album “No one comes with me” for the first time.
