The Flemish Radio Choir wants to connect our people with the Ukrainian population with some pearls from a long Ukrainian music tradition. The war is disrupting the entire Ukrainian society and this leaves no one unaffected.
Composer Oleksandr Shchetynsky and pianist Antonii Baryshevski also view the situation with dismay. “All my thoughts are with Ukraine. I see the news every day. And for each of us it is important to be supported by Belgium and the people here and in general by Europe,” says Shchetynsky.
