The Flemish government is abolishing the Flemish climate adaptation plan. This was evident from the Environment Committee on Tuesday. According to responsible minister Jo Brouns (CD&V), there will be no new adaptation plan, but it must be linked to existing initiatives such as the Blue Deal. “You are turning back the clock,” criticizes Flemish Member of Parliament and Groen faction leader Mieke Schauvliege in a response.
