An apartment on Hooilaan in Breda was evacuated on Friday evening due to fire. The fire was discovered around half past ten in the evening.
Dozens of people had to leave their apartments. A resident was rescued from a balcony by the fire brigade with a ladder. Several residents were also removed from balconies using an aerial platform.
Stuffy
Two residents became short of breath due to the smoke released by the fire. They were treated by ambulance personnel.
It has not yet been revealed how the fire started. The fire brigade has extinguished the fire and is investigating.
