Interior Ministry officials shared the details of the procedures for entering and leaving the country during the 2022 World Cup, which will start on November 20, at a press conference held in Doha.

Within the scope of the new applications, it was stated that those who carry a special ID card called “Hayya” for the World Cup will be allowed to enter Qatar.

Hayya Kart will be used to identify ticket holders for the World Cup and to facilitate the provision of various services to enhance their Qatari experience.

During the World Cup, Qatari citizens, those holding a work visa, citizens of the Gulf countries and humanitarian situations will be exempted from the Hayya Card application.

The 2022 FIFA World Cup, which will be held in Qatar between November 20 and December 18, is considered to be the biggest and leading tournament of the football world at the level of national teams.
