A major fire broke out in the clubhouse of tennis club BSV Bergen on the Oudtburghweg last night. As far as we know, no injuries have been reported.
The fire on Oudtburghweg was reported to the emergency services around 4.30 am.
The fire brigade responded fairly quickly, when, according to a spokesperson for the safety region, ‘quite a bit of fire was already visible’.

“Because a lot of fire was already visible, it was quickly scaled up to a major fire. But the fire was almost out within half an hour,” the spokesperson told NH. The requested aerial work platform, among other things, was therefore canceled again.
As far as we know there are no injuries. Nothing is currently known about the cause of the fire.
